Monkey Boy decided last week that he’s done with taking his second nap of the day... Does wailing and throwing dust on top of your head in front of your child scar them for life?

I don’t always get a chance to post awards that I receive (I am lazy. I get lazy to add all the links, the award picture, etc., etc. SORRY!), but I am very thankful and do really enjoy receiving them. I think the bloggers who award them to me are wonderful.

Most of you out there would probably not post your giveaway winnings, but since I never win anything, I’m shouting it from the mountaintops: I won a giveaway! GET OUT!
Hosted by the fantastic Suzanne from Shabby Chicks, my grand prize came in the mail a week ago with all these goodies! Monkey and I ate all the cookies in two days - they were yummy delicious – and I’m currently obsessed with that Nina Garcia book, “The Little Black Book of Style”.

Congrats on the awards and giveaway winning! I assume I will never win anything, so I have only ever entered two giveaways . . . ever! LOL. I didn't win. haha
Oh my son stopped two naps before he even turned one. Now I get a one (if I am lucky) two hour nap once a day.

Congrats on your giveaway win. I never enter these things anymore cuz I never win. Thanks for stopping by my blog. I also call my thumb a "black thumb" as opposed to green when it comes to gardening. The sunflowers are a real easy plant. They do attract a lot of bugs, but a great organic based spray for bugs worked. You just have to keep doing it. Good luck if you do decide to plant some. Thanks alot Jennifer for now making me addicted to Project Rant! I've now wasted an hour of precious cleaning time. HA like I was going to clean today anyway!! Seriously though that is some funny stuff :o)

It's completely acceptable to sob like a baby when your child gives up that treasured 2nd nap. When my 4 yr olds stopped napping, I think I sobbed for 3 days straight.

Oh and with the nap - done thing..no worries. Baby still go into room and stay quietly for the same nap period. You can't make him sleep, but then you can make him stay in room until that period is up...gosh I sound mean.
